We offer new and ongoing training encounters for development and support in the areas of Narrative and Pastoral practices.
To work with a narrative perspective is to work with the everyday and extraordinary stories of people’s lives that shape people’s lives that shape people’s sense of well-being and identity. Narrative practices involve being clear on the problems and situations that prevent people from having the kinds of lives and relationships that could be possible for them. It is about re-authoring the problem-saturated stories that lead to despair, hopelessness and isolation. It is about tracing alternative stories founded upon real lived experience such as how people hold out hope through difficult times – powerful stories that can transform lives.
